Railway Board has cancelled the GDCE exam held on 15 December for the promotion of group ‘D’ employees. GDCE stand for General Departmental Competitive Examination, the exam is internal exam of Indian railways department for the employees going on higher posts.
The Group D departmental promotion exam was held by Four divisions of South Eastern railway on 15 December. About 10,000 group D employees has filled the application for the exam. The exam was cancelled due to gross misconduct found in the exam.
