British Painters has depicted the India in the colonial era with their Oil colours and water colors Paintings. As the photography was not invented at that time, hence those paintings shows the natural wonders in form of scenery and architectural manifestation.

Most of the paintings shown here are made by the British painters and few of them are made by Indian painter in late 1800, The photos of the paintings are taken from the art gallery/museum. As there is scarcity of High resolution British colonial era Indian paintings, hence here it is tried to provide some good resolution painting photos from the original paintings.
