Ministry of Information and broadcasting has invited application for the post of Regional Officer & Additional Regional Officer both are(General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted on deputation basis.
Eligibility criteria –
1.Candidates should be working either in Indian Administrative Service or Central service.
(a) Degree of a _ recognized university or equivalent;
(b) Sound knowledge of Hindi and one more of the following Indian languages against each Regional Officer:— 01 – Bengaluru i. Regional Officer, CBFC, Bengaluru — Kannada ii. Regional Officer, CBFC, Kolkata – Bengali 01 – Kolkata ili. Regional Officer, CBFC, Mumbai – Marathi iv. Regional Officer, CBFC, Cuttack – Odiya (c) Sound knowledge of Indian history and culture; and
(d) 10 years’ administrative or managerial experience in a responsible capacity.
For Additional Regional Officer 7 years experience needed.

1. Regional Officer Pay Matrix Level 12 (Rs.78800-209200) (Pre-revised Pay Band 3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600)
2. Addl. Regional officer Pay Matrix 11 (Rs.67700-208700) (Pre-revised Pay Band 3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-)
