BSP (Bahujan Samajwadi Party) President and 4 times Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati is celebrating her birthday today on 15 January.
Age – Today she turned 68 years old, she was born in Delhi on 15 January, 1956. She got her name Kumari Mayawati Das. Her father Sh Prabhu Das worked as Post office employee in Badalpur, Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.
She was bright in politics by sh late Kanshiram, when he visited her village in 1977. She is popularly known as Bahen ji by her followers. Her party works for the upliftment of schedule cast, schedule tribes and other backward casts. She had been MP in Rajya sabha (parliament) from Uttar Pradesh. Kanshiram nominated her as his successor and BSP President in 2001. Last year in December 2023 she name her nephew Akash as her successor. She has been awarded Paul Harris Fellow Award by UNICEF, World Health Organization and Rotary International, for her initiative in Polio eradication.
At her birthday her whole residents turned blue, she is also expected to announce some news today.
