India has finally won the T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 at Barbados. India team beat South Africa in final and won by 3 wickets. Virat Kohli became Man of Match and Jaspreet Bumrah won the Man of the series Title. India won the world cup after 17 years.
India in the first Innings made 176 for 7 wicket, while the South Africa made 169 for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Kohli made 76 runs out of 56 balls and became Man of the match. Virat Kohli announced his retirement from the next T20 Cricket World Cup, he said it’s an open secret that he won’t play next world cup and will retire. He said that he want the next generation to take the place.
One moment in 14 over K klaasen struck 24 runs in one over of Axer Patel and made the match to SA side the soon Hardik Pandya took his wicket and turned the match into India favour. In 19 over a brilliant catch by Surya Kumar Yadav of David Miller made win within India reach. While there is happening in Indian fans there is sad in Bangladeshi fans after the India won the T20 Cricket World Cup 2024. Hardik Pandya who balled the last over took highest 3 wickets out of 3 overs from Indian team while Bumrah and Arshdeep singh took 2 wickets each.
