Two outstanding wins in Test cricket, the next difficult ODI series, have given the Indian women more confidence.
As the three-match ODI series against Australia gets underway today, Harmanpreet Kaur and his side will be looking to improve their dismal record in this format. In the 50 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) India has played against the seven-time world champion Australians, they have lost 40 of them. India defeated the Australian women’s team in a home ODI thirteen years ago.

The game gets underway at 1:30 pm. The Indian squad, which includes newcomers Shreyanka Patil, Saika Ishaq, Mannath Kashyap, and Titus Sadhu, is aiming to make their ODI debuts.
