An Indian hockey player named Varun Kumar has been accused by a woman of repeatedly sexually abusing her as a young kid. Varun Kumar has also been conferred Arujna Award in 2021 by former President of India Ram Nath Kovind for displaying good performance for winning Bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics. Varun kumar inducted in Indian Hockey Team in 2017 and belongs from Himachal Pradesh. Now, a ‘POCSO’ complaint was subsequently filed against him for sexually abusing a minor girl.
The woman, who is presently employed as a flight attendant, stated that in 2018, while Varun Kumar was undergoing training at the National Sports Commission, she was 17 years old. Varun Kumar, who had been texting me nonstop on Instagram, said that he wanted to meet me in person in his complaint against him in this regard. However, I don’t give a damn. His pals then got in touch with me to arrange to meet him.
He brought her to a hotel in Jayanagar in 2019. He confided in me and told me he was getting married. Four years later, he declared his intention to be married and had an affair. However, he hasn’t spoken to me since 2023. In addition to his refusal to get married, he threatens to post my explicit photos on social media if I make him get married. It’s time to take action against him. The complaint states that Varun Kumar is the subject of a case filed under the POCSO Act, fraud, and rape sections. At the moment, he resides in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. A ‘summon’ to appear for an investigation will be sent by the police.
