Yesterday on 9 June, 2024 terrorist has attacked a bus carrying Hindu Pilgrimage in Reasi situated at Jammu and Kashmir.
The people were coming from Uttar Pradesh to visit the Mata Vaishno Devi temple situated at katra near Teryath village in Poni area. The bus was coming after visiting from Shiv khori temple and then en route to Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir.
10 people has died and 33 people have sustain injuries after the bus fell in the gorge after being attacked from the terrorists. The bullet marks can be seen at many places on the bus. The terrorist attacked on 53 seater bus at 6:30 pm from which the fell off from the road to deep gorge in valley.
The attack on Hindu pilgrims has done on the same date when the new Government was taking oath in New Delhi on 09 June yesterday. A skirmish between Indian and Chinese soldiers are reported on the same date at the border areas.
Persident Murur and PM Narendra Modi has payed gave their condolences to the victims. The LG of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha has said that PM has asked him to take the stock of the situation and help the families. Cabinet Minister Amit shah said the those involved in the dastardly terror attack will not be spared and action will be taken according to the law.
He also said the local administration is working at the war footing for helping the victims. Amit shah said “May the Almighty give the loved ones of the deceased the strength to bear this pain. I also pray for the speedy recovery of the injured”.
LG Manoj Sinha has assured that a joint operation with Security forces and J&K police has started for hunting down the terrorists.
