US striked at many locations on Houthi rebels strong hold. Earlier the US backed resolution in United Nation Security Council (UNSC) has been supported by 11 members of UNSC while Russia and China has abstained form the resolution. China said that the draft resolution is ambiguous on several key issue and will not achieve intended effect and lead to negative consequences.
While there are total 23 warships now operating in the region of Red sea for the protection of Vessels. Yesterday night Houthi Rebels has launched the biggest strike on the vessels in the form of drones. While most the the drones/ missiles have been shot down, none stike ships.
The current 23 strong warships include US, Britain, India, Italy, France etc. US has 3 Warships, India has 10 warships including destroyers UK has 2, while France, italy and other allied nations have 1 ship deployed in the region.
